Hon. Russell Hartigan, a seasoned legal professional with an extensive background in both the private sector and public service, is a highly qualified candidate running for Judge in 2024.
With a distinguished career that spans over four decades, Hartigan has demonstrated exceptional dedication, expertise, and a commitment to justice. His experience includes presiding over a wide range of cases, contributing to his well-rounded understanding of the legal system.
He is the current commissioner of the Lyons Township Mental Health Commission and had prior service as a Trustee of the Village of Western springs. Russ is an instructor at Kent Law School and DePaul University. He also serves on Pav YMCA Board and IL Bar Foundation Lawyers Care Committee. Russ is current justice Phi Alpha Delta Law president of fraternity.
Russ is highly qualified by the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois State Bar Association. He served as the ISBA's 141st President. Russ was also endorsed by the Italian American Political Coalition.
